JOIN SCAA

As a member of the Spill Control Association of America (SCAA), youwill benefit from the experience of an association that has been serving the needs of the response industry since 1973. You will have access to a forum that is willing to listen to your frustrations and concerns, then take action on your behalf when necessary. You will have the opportunity to participate in SCAA's annual meeting and regional meetings, where you can meet with your colleagues in the industry, and become more familiar with them. Not only is this a good business practice, it also provides you with the opportunity to obtain some new business.
As a member in good standing, your company will be listed on the SCAA web site at no cost, providing you with both the credibility and presitige associated with being a part of our nationwide organization. This listing will also give your company higher web visibility and recognition, while keeping you informed on industry trends, regulations, and other related news. Your will also have the opportunity to advertise on the web site to generate new business leads.

You will be kept informed of developments in our profession through SCAA's weekly newsletter (the "Spill Briefs"). The newsletter serves as the association's sounding-board, whereby you, as a member, are kept up-to-date on the issues facing other members across the nation and have the opportunity to bring your own issues and concerns to the attention of SCAA's membership. You will also have the opportunity to participate in discussions and/or meetings that may shape the future of our profession. This is particularly true in the case of SCAA's quality partnership for marine safety and environmental protection with the U.S. Coast Guard and Association of Petroleum Industry Co-op Managers ("APICOM").

The strength of an association is its membership, and the strength of an association's membership is diversity. As an industry with a unified voice, we make a difference. We look forward to welcoming you to our group, and working together to the benefit of our profession and our environment.
